BLAKE 11 Months going on 11

Next month my kid is going to be a year old. WTF. How did this go so fast? Will it ever slow down?

Before he was born I had it in my mind that I was going to plan some astonishing first Birthday for him. I know I know, Why? He won't ever remember it. Not only that, We defiantly don't possess enough friends nor any family who lives near by to have a big celebration. So my backup plan was just to do our Disney trip. I was lucky enough to have been gifted such a generous present of 2 Disney Land tickets at Blake's baby shower. So I figured we would make a mini family get away with it and also go to California Adventure. Disney nerd right here. I could sit and watch Disney movies all day. I know this theme park like the back of my hand.

But as some of you know Dads schedule is always changing. Lots of traveling lately. So this little family will be heading East to West Virginia. ( I think that's correct. Maybe a geography course in my future lol )  So for over a month or so, That is where we will be residing. Blake's first Disney Trip will be postponed till we get home in November. We are fortunate to have the option to go together as a family.

So our 11 month old is thriving well. Nearly walking. I contemplate him walking any day now, Currently taking 4-5 steps at a time. He stumbles down or gets a tad fearful and sits down to crawl again.

Waving, Clapping, Mimicking sounds. Barking and growling at the dogs and his parents. Giving kisses, Playing Peek a Boo. Putting his arms up when we say "YAY!" Dancing any chance he can get or the second music is on the tv or radio. Yo Gabba Gabba and The Wiggle's are his jam. Pretty much Music is his thing.

I mean we have to get a passport in case Dad goes somewhere cool for work. Family trip!!

He eats like 5 year old already. If someone would have told me that I would be ordering kids meals for my not even one year old, Eyes would be rolling. But it's happening. Of course I am practicing things I said I would't do. Like NO tv, NO fast-food. Well I happen to like TV,  Sometimes it helps me keep my sanity and provides Blake with entertainment so that I can do things such as showering, Folding the laundry that has been sitting in the dryer all week. Cook an actual meal. So yeah sometimes when we are out and about and I am starving and don't feel like rushing home to make lunch, We stop at Chick Fila. Blake LOVES the grilled chicken nuggets. He can eat almost 6 pieces. Whatever it's grilled and I eat the fries. So it's not all that bad. Still obsessed with fruit pouches and puffs.

Dad spoiled Blake with a new trike.

Blake has this super rad play area. We have the colorful play yard. Alphabetical play mat. Blocks. Stuffed animals, Toys galore. Yeah someone is slightly spoiled. But for some reason at times in his eyes its a punishment He is so clingy that when we set him in his area he cries to get out. Eyes rolling. But times it keeps him busy and safe for up to an hour sometimes if I am lucky.

Over time in a way, Blake has become easier because he is becoming independent. Feeding is easier. No more breast feeding. He has transformed into my little best friend. Someone I can be goofy with literally all day long. Singing and dancing. CHEESE!! I love it so much. It's a little saddening how quick this year went. But defiantly looking forward to the many more milestones to come.
